MAIN STREET MARION WELCOMES UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA FELLOWS

University of Alabama Honors College fellows will be volunteering in Marion over the next two weeks. Some of the many projects they will be working on are outlined in this blog post. Thank you for your help and support!
During Black History Month, we specifically worked to help amplify Black-owned businesses in Marion. We had the privilege of talking to three wonderful and accomplished business owners in town. Read on to hear their stories.
Although 2020 was an extremely challenging year, Main Street Marion was able to make forward progress in a number of ways, providing visible downtown improvements and setting the stage for more to come.
2021 was another very active year for Main Street Marion. We look forward to continued partnership with the City of Marion towards the goal of revitalization of Marion’s historic downtown and business corridor. 2022 will be another wonderful year.
